Spyderco Fixed Blade Knives

Many people love a good fixed blade knife. They’re easily carried on your belt or around your neck. Spyderco boasts an extensive line of fixed blade knives. Below are just a few of the options available on Knifehub.com.

One of my personal favorites because of its size is the Spyderco Stok Drop Point Bowie. I tend to like the more compact, concealable fixed blades for everyday carry. The Stok Drop Point has an overall length of 6.45 inches. The blade is made of  8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel and polished to a satin finish. The G10 handles are an OD Green color. The knife also comes with a Boltaron sheath, which is highly resistant to breaking and scratching. All around, this is an affordable, well-made knife that is sure to please.

Phil Wilson partnered with Spyderco to create the Bow River Fixed Blade. Known for his filet knives, Phil is an expert when it comes to fixed blades. And the Bow River does not disappoint. Measuring just over 8 inches in total, this tool is both practical and beautiful. The G10 handle boasts an intricate black and white pattern while being quite durable. The blade, like the Stok Bowie, is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and has a full-flat grind, which makes for a strong blade. The sheath that the Bow River comes with is leather, giving the blade the ultimate protection from the elements on all your wilderness adventures.

Finally, we have the Spyderco Temperance Sprint Run edition in a fixed blade. This is an impressive knife. It measures over 9 inches in length and boasts a fully serrated blade made of CPM-Cruwear steel. The fiberglass reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle keeps the knife firmly in your grasp while in use.  The accompanying Boltaron sheath comes with a few different mounting options, making this tool even more versatile. I would recommend this knife for hiking and camping trips where a small hand saw might come in handy.

These are just a few of the fantastic fixed blades that Spyderco has produced. There are plenty more to be found on Knifehub.com. We like to think that we have a knife for every use.
