The CRKT Bona Fide was designed by Ken Onion, who used a traditional Hawaiin wa'a, a type of canoe, as inspiration for the shape. The knife has a black modified drop point blade made of 1.4116 stainless steel. The OD green handle is made of aluminum, with a tip-up right handed only carry clip.
 
This CRKT features Gen II field strip technology. Simply slide the stippled lever up to seperate the knife into 3 parts. To reassemble, place the blade between both handles in a closed position, then slide the lever down.
