Designed by Spyderco founder Sal Glesser and inspired by the innovative work of French knifemaker Fred Perrin, the Swick 6 is a purpose-built personal-defense tool with a focus on superior control and security. The standout feature of this knife is its Perrin-inspired index-finger hole, measuring 0.91 inches (23.1 mm) in diameter, which locks the blade securely into your hand for a solid, slip-free grip. The full-flat-ground Wharncliffe blade delivers a precise, sharp edge for utility tasks, while the full-tang handle design offers strength and durability. The G10 scales are textured for a non-slip grip and are attached to the handle with concealed internal pins. A section of jimping on the spine adds a thumb ramp for enhanced control, providing a solid grip in all conditions.

Constructed from LC200N steel, a highly corrosion-resistant alloy, the Swick 6 excels in challenging environments. To complement the knife, Spyderco includes a custom-molded Boltaron sheath, which features an adjustable G-Clip and a breakaway ball chain, offering versatile carry options for any situation.
