The Microtech LUDT Gen III (2023) is the latest evolution of the iconic Underwater Demolition Team knife, combining proven performance with modern refinements. First introduced in the 1990s, the LUDT quickly became one of Microtech’s most popular designs. This used model continues that legacy with upgraded materials, enhanced ergonomics, and fast automatic action.

The 3.45″ tanto blade is crafted from Böhler M390MK stainless steel, offering excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and durability. A flat grind, reinforced tip, and integrated fuller (blood groove) provide strength and efficient cutting performance. The Sunrise Cerakote finish adds visual appeal while improving wear resistance.

The aircraft-grade aluminum handle also features a Sunrise Cerakote finish along with 3M traction tape inserts, delivering a secure grip in various conditions. The ergonomic shape ensures comfortable handling, while the automatic push-button deployment provides fast, reliable blade action.

Updated with Torx hardware, a lanyard hole, and refined details throughout, the LUDT Gen III maintains its reputation as a dependable everyday carry knife. The stainless steel pocket clip allows secure tip-up right-hand carry.
